BRACKLEY – Despite runner - up in the order of constructors Formula One ( F1 ) , Mercedes wants higher achievement again next season . It was filed directly by its flagship driver , Lewis Hamilton .
Hamilton's switch from McLaren team last season , was able to help secure a second constructor McLaren . For personal accomplishment , 28 -year-old racer was ranked fourth in the list of the final standings F1 2013.
Looking at some of the records , Hamilton also claim to have a big target for next season . He wanted no improvement to his position and rank .
" We have just completed the second place in the constructors' championship , of course we want a better place finish next year , we want to make a step forward , " Hamilton said as quoted by Sky Sports News , Thursday ( 11/28/2013 ) .
" For me the world champion is my target next . Of course we 've done a variety of ways to be the best . We also will not put negative energy out there , "said Hamilton .
Hamilton also claimed that his team has prepared a series of preparations for the next season stare . British driver was also added that his team is very hungry for the title .
" I do not think that we have a winning mentality . Everyone has a different approach but I think everyone here hungry for the title . They do not have the success that they actually deserve it , "said Hamilton .
